Stash Report – Week 30, 2014

I’ve been working on the BOMs so it isn’t like I’m not doing anything.  Just no finishes for me to include in the “used” portion.  And, thankfully, I’ve been holding back on visiting the LQS (there are 2 that are near to me – 1 closer to my office and the other closer to my home).

I’m caught up with Tell It To The Stars – see this post. One block closer to being caught up with Moon Glow – now I’ve only got 2 blocks to get caught up (update).  And I’m currently working on Month 7 with blocks 26-29 for Hampton Ridge – once that is done, I’ll have 2 kits to get caught up.  I know if I buckle down and stay home on weekends, it is possible for me to get caught up with Moon Glow and Hampton Ridge over the next couple of months.  But now that we’re out and about each weekend, I’m only able to sew here and there between outings and a little bit during the week.  That’s okay.  We’re having a blast this summer. Yesterday, we hiked the Mt. Hollywood Trail in Griffith Park.  It’s something we’ve always wanted to do but just never had the chance.  We didn’t make it up to the top this first time around, but I’m sure after a few more times, we’ll get there!   I’ll be on vacation in a week and I’m hoping to get more time with my Bernina then.

  1. The BOMs can really keep you busy. Each one you are involved with is very different. I’m partial to Moon Glow. Have fun…like me the yardage usage will come!

  2. To every thing there is a season, and this is the season to enjoy your children and the beautiful hiking trails! The quilting will wait until it’s not so nice outside. =)
