I’m a little late posting this and it’s really because I’ve been taking advantage of Craftsy’s sales. I remembered last week’s purchase but totally forgot about the three I bought earlier in the month. /sigh. Well, I’ve got a total of 8 classes added for the month. This will have to stop! Here are the classes I’ve added:
- Sew Sturdy Travel Organizers with Annie Unrein
- Machine-Finished Hand Applique with Beth Ferrier
- Designing Elegant Edible Gardens with Ellen Ogden
- Sew Better Bags: The Weekend Duffel with Betz White
- Finishing School: Edges & Bindings with Mimi Dietrich
- Machine Quilting with Templates: Creating Design Perfection with Kimmy Brunner
- Vegetable Gardening: Smart Techniques for Plentiful Results
- Vegetable Gardening: Innovative Small-Space Solutions
I finished watching Free Motion Fillers Volume 1 with Leah Day. This is one of those classes that are great to take while I’m quilting or knitting and can just watch or listen as I craft. Leah is a wealth of information and ideas. I’m not sure I’m at the point to actually learn how to do any of the designs she shared. But I may be one day. I bought this class originally so I can FMQ on my little Bernina but I make big quilts and I hate quilting them on her. So now that I’ve got my Bailey I like the class for the information and maybe one day I’ll want to do some of these designs. If that day comes, I’ll have this Craftsy class to refer to. I mentioned in a previous post her interesting basting method. It’s the last lesson of the class and was apparently taken out of her Free Motion Quilting a Sampler class.
