Happy Wednesday!
Not much has been done since break. I got a bit of knitting done and a bit of cross stitch done during the basketball game Monday night. Last night, I was able to get the final side of border #2 on Hampton Ridge. First I fussy cut the final side. I made sure to read the measurements again. I didn’t want to make any mistakes.
The next step is to miter those corners, then I can get Border #3 on. I’m not sure if I’ll be able to get to this until Sunday. I’ve got a bunch of evening activities these next few nights and I will need to have my full attention when I go in to actually miter. I will try to get those strips to line up properly but we’ll see how it goes.
For those checking in from Freshly Pieced… Thanks for stopping by!

Your quilt is beautiful, love the reds. The border is very attractive. Blessings, Gretchen
Thanks! 🙂
Wow! That is one gorgeous quilt top.
Thank you!
A lovely quilt, lots of work in those blocks! Good luck with getting your border on, it’s going to look wonderful!
Thanks!
Hampton ridge looks great. I was able to use the large size Easy Angle ruler to do the miters on mine. Don’t forget seam allowances 😉
Thanks for the idea! 🙂
Your Hampton Ridge is gorgeous. Yes, mitering takes one’s full attention — don’t ask me how I know LOL — but that border needs it, for sure!
Thanks! 🙂
