I started going to yoga again.  I didn’t say but when my parents came to visit last month, my routine was interrupted and I’ve been skipping yoga.  But I started up again on Wednesday and I was able to go yesterday too.  That’s twice already.  I’m really sore but I want to go again today.  I do have some commitments planned today that tell me that I probably won’t make it.  The thing about yoga is that it helps me sleep.  That might be true with other kinds of exercise but I get the best sleep with yoga.  And when I sleep, I’m so happy with the world. 🙂  Even when a virus threatens to take down your company as it did yesterday. ;0  Anyway, all that to say that going back to yoga takes up a bit of my crafty time so I wasn’t able to get the machine quilting finished on Raining Cats and Dogs.

But I’ve got the first two rows done and I’m working on the third.  The bottom third row has the biggest pucker of all and it runs through the middle of the middle block.  I’ve already unbasted the block on the right and I’ll pin it this evening.  I need to work real hard in getting the pucker out of the middle block.  I think it’s all about pinning this evening.

  1. Yoga might have taken a little more of your time today, but when you sleep better tonight you will feel better and sew more tomorrow.

  2. Thanks for the link to the yoga for the hand. I will be practicing this once I get the all clear on my wrist. Thank you so very much. I do appreciate it. Kathleen Mary

  3. I hope you were able to get the pucker out and do a little stitching. Glad the virus didn’t eat your company, too!

  4. Hi Melanie, I love the colors in Raining Cats and Dogs. Good providence w/getting it finished. I haven’t done yoga in quite a while, but was just thinking about maybe looking for a groupon for Bikram. I think it’d do my neck and upper back some good as I tend to carry a lot of tension there.

    • Thanks Zenia. I love hot yoga! Try it and if Bikram doesn’t work for you try other forms of yoga that may be available in a hot room. It has helped my alleviate tension and sleep so much better. 🙂
