Shhh… don’t tell.
I have this crazy desire to get rid of everything and move into a tiny home.
Okay. The cats out of the bag. I really can’t do this now. I’ve got a hubby who does not share this secret desire of mine and I’ve got 2 kids who like their stuff and their bedrooms. But the kids and their stuff will hopefully be leaving in a few years. I love them. I really do. But let’s be real, they’re going to college and they’re going to leave. Hopefully, by then, I’ve convinced the hubby to at least try it out.
So between now and then – get rid of as much stuff as I can. I’ve been trying to downsize since we moved into this house. But having this vision in front of me encourages me to get rid of even those items that I’m very sentimental about.
I’ll keep you posted on how I do!

I would like to keep stuff to a minimum too. Be great to know how you get on. I have a week old baby at the moment and the amount of stuff he has is ridiculous!
It will be hard with a baby in tow! They have too much stuff that they need. 🙂
I am always trying to keep my stuff to a minimum! Its hard. And now I am moving into a bigger house. I see a lot of trash in my very near future.

I would love to move to a smaller house. But the same as you, I have a husband. He does not want to.
I’m just going to slowly get rid of things and hope that over time he’ll get used to going smaller. We’ve got a long ways to go so there’s plenty of time. 🙂
