I’ve got 3 more colorways left to finish up Row 11 before the end of the month.  I think I can do it!

I’ve been watching flosstube videos on YouTube and I’m enjoying them.  It’s very similar to other crafty podcasts but specific to Cross Stitching.  I want one of those sit-down frame hoops that I can keep this project in and roll up as I finish a section.  But I’m trying not to bring more things into the house.  I’m a big fail where fabric and yarn are concerned but apparently, I’m able to stop myself on this one.  The ones I want are kind of pricey so that helps me stop myself.  I am sure if I find a good deal (like free!) I’d happily take one in.  For now, the little plastic hoops I put on and take off each time I sit down to stitch works.  It’s a pain to put them on and get it all ready but I’m doing it so it’s working.

On a side note, my car is in the shop.  It’s been in the shop since Saturday.  I was on my way to take the girl to the mall as one of my stops before heading to my bag class when the car died on me suddenly.  Oh, boy did the people behind me glare at me!  But what could I do?  Anyway, it’s been in the shop since Saturday.  The service people know what’s wrong with it, but the extended warranty I purchased is not giving them the approval (even though it’s covered) because of some issue. I was on the phone with a variety of different people all afternoon yesterday.  I need one person at one shop to “release” my car to the service shop it is in so that the warranty company will pay for it to be fixed.  So, I was stuck at home all day yesterday and when it came time to pick the kids up at school I took Lyft.  I’m hoping it gets resolved today so I can pick them up in my car.

Happy Tuesday!

Happy Stitching!

    • Thanks Wendy! I like to see the pics to show how much I’ve done. It’s so easy to forget with large long term projects like this how much work I do but looking at the pics every week helps remind me that I’m actually making progress. 🙂

  1. I live in fear of that happening to me, and I don’t even have girls to take anywhere! This project has advanced a lot since you first picked it back up. I hadn’t seen it in a while.
