I was listening to Alison Rosen’s old podcasts “Within A Quarter Inch” and one of the early episodes went on and on about BOMs. I’ve done BOMs with my LQS and never tried to do it through the mail. But since we’ve moved I haven’t found an LQS I like yet and I miss the BOMs. So at the Long Beach International Quilt Show (2013) I happened by Quilts in the Attics’ booth and found this BOM. So I joined up.
The BOM fee is $32.95 per month.
Inner top was completed on 10/3/2015. Finished at 67.5″x 67.5″

Hampton Ridge BOM
Block 1 Completed
October 14, 2013
This is a 12 month BOM. I will get 4-5 blocks per month and each block will finish at 7.5″ x 7.5″ for a total of 41 blocks and a finished border. For block 1, I mentioned on this post that I didn’t understand why we created a bunch of half square triangles instead of making flying geese pieced side by side. The method used to make the half square triangles was interesting and was called in the instructions as “star single” half square triangle paper. It is an interesting method that I’m going to use again (at least for the next few blocks) and will have more experience with it.

I also was able to get Block 3 of Hampton Ridge finished on Friday – day one of the retreat. I’m still on track with this BOM because I haven’t received the November Package yet. I am getting better at matching those points. I didn’t match them very well in Block 1 and Block 2 was better but still not great. I feel really good with Block 3 and it went together fairly easily. I could have gotten it done quicker on Friday if I wasn’t bombarded with as many interruptions as I had. But it was what it was and I’m happy with how it turned out.

I know that this is an older sight but I love this quilt. I’ve been trying to find a pattern, any suggestions?
I know several people have asked me about it but I have no idea where it could be purchased now.
if this quilt is ever printed please let me know
It’s a lovely quilt. I can see why everyone wants it to be re-released.
Gorgeous!
Thank you!
I’d the Hampton Ridge pattern still available?
I don’t think so. i’ve had many requests and haven’t seen the pattern around.
Is it possible to purchase the pattern for the Hampton Ridge Quilt?
I haven’t seen this available anywhere. I’m sorry. many people have commented.
