Stash Report – Week 43, 2014

It’s been a couple of weeks.  I just wanted to jump on and say HI!  My computer crashed, then my birthday happened, and really – work is still kicking my butt.  It’s the same thing over and over again… and I wasn’t able to do much crafty goodness during that time.  However I was able to get Moon Glow Block 11 finished on Friday. and I can’t wait until the next kit arrives next week because I believe I should be getting the fabric for the alternating log cabin blocks.

This weekend, I have been working on Month 10 of Hampton Ridge and I’ve got 2 of the 4 complete.   In addition, between blocks and steps, I’ve been cutting for Scrapitude 2015 “Scrap In A Box”.  At the same time, I’m trying to figure out what my Scrap Fabric system is going to be.  I’ve got one box of tiny pieces of fabric that just get sewn together willy nilly through leaders and enders until I have enough pieces together to make a 4″ block.  I’ve got another box for scraps that are larger than the tiny pieces that can actually be cut into squares and triangles.  I’m going through that box first for my scrapitude pieces.  Then I”ve got a third bin for scraps but are larger than the previous box.  We’ll see how this works.  In the meantime, I’ve been adding to my stash…

For my stash report: Nothing Used, A lot added….

Last weekend was my birthday weekend and I had to work which meant I couldn’t do what I wanted to do on my birthday weekend – play with fabric and quilt.  So, I took myself to the LQS and bought fabric.  That’s 12 yards added.  Some of it is for Bonnie’s mystery quilt and the rest of it I bought because I loved it.

Used this week: 0 yards
Used year to Date: 21.5 yards
Added this week: 12 yards
Added Year to Date: 93.4 yards
Net Added for 2014: 71.9 yards
