Stash Report – Week 50, 2016

Things are quiet in the stash department.  Nothing added or used!  Life is crazy at the moment with changes happening all around me so I haven’t had the mindspace to quilt Missing Ivy.  Or do the borders of Have Yourself a Quilty Little Christmas!  Even though my goal was to get 6 quilts done this year and these two are the quilts to get me there, I’m giving myself some grace to take time off.  I am working on En Provence and that is coming along nicely.  I’ll post more tomorrow for Bonnie’s linky!

For the fabric stash:

And for Slow Stitching Sunday with Kathy at Kathy Quilts, I plan to continue my work on A Rainbow Garden!  I got all the flowers stitched on and the next step is the little white buds.  I’m not really sure how I’m going to stitch them so I’m not sure if it will be quick or take a bit of time.  But these buds are the last step so once those are done I can pull out Block 7!

Here’s how it looked last weekend:

Once this block is finished, I will have finished 3 blocks for this project over the course of 2016.  That’s really exciting and I hope to continue stitching these blocks in 2017 for Slow Stitch Sunday.

  1. I didn’t know Primitive Gatherings did another Wool and Taupes BOM. Nice! I did their “Heart & Home” one and finally have a top with hopes of quilting it next year.

  2. Hopefully things will calm down this week. It’s the time of year for lots going on that gets in the way of sewing. Your Rainbow Garden block turned out beautifully.

  3. Good week for the budget! I love your block – and all the flowers are down! I’m not sure what else needs to be done, it looks so nicely finished.
