So 2 things happened since last week. The first, I found a coupon in one of my bags for my LQS. It was a Buy One Yard, Get One Yard Free card. And the last day to use it was yesterday. I could not let that go to waste. Second, I received a $50 pre-paid mastercard from a survey I took before Christmas. I actually received it a while ago but must have thrown it in one of my drawers to look into later. Luckily, I cleaned my junk drawer last week and found it. What is a crafter to do but go to her LQS and buy a couple of yards of fabric. I’ve still got a bit left on the card so I’ll be taking the balance with me to my LYS or maybe Road if it lasts that long.

Slow Stitching Sunday
Unfortunately, I will not be doing anything for Slow Stitch Sunday again. 🙁 I have a family thing this afternoon. But I’ll be spending a bit of time this morning piecing a back together for Celtic Solstice.

Ii wouldn’t have wasted that coupon either. The sales at my LQS are few and far between.
Thanks! I’m glad I’m not alone in this thinking. 🙂
A coupon AND a gift card…what a happy coincidence!
Lucky you to have found it before it expired! I am usually not that lucky with coupons I misplace. Can’t wait to see your finished Celtic Solstice. I just recently finished mine too. I did not do the current mystery since it took so long for CS. Maybe next year. lol
You clearly had to do that shopping, and you were much more restrained than I would have been! Than I have been, I’m much further in the hole than you. New fabric is inspiring!
