Sunday Stash Report – Week 36, 2021

I know. Another few months of me missing in action. First work started getting busier again and second, I was working on the same things. I felt like I was repeating myself, and third, it was NBA playoffs! And my Clips made it to the Western conference for the first time ever. I was in front of the TV a lot in June.

I finally finished the snowball blocks for the above quilt, Dancing with the Stars, by Linda Ballard and pieced all the blocks together. I finished the borders and the quilt top in July. Then I went to my first retreat since covid the first weekend of August and finished the Scrappy Star around the Corner top and the week after, finished the Radiant Jewel quilt top. In total that’s about 15 yards finished. I’m so happy to have finished those but I’ve been buying up since my last post –

First during week 22, I bought 10 yards for backing for my Jan Krentz quilt “Diamond Quilt”. Then during week 23, Tula Pink’s Curiouser and Curioser arrived at my house. That’s another 25 yards of gloriousness. And my guild had their annual (except 2020) treasure hunt in August at a member’s back yard. It was wonderful to see everyone but I added a ton of fabric. I didn’t even count it. There were 3 bags worth.
