Nothing used, nothing added.

I came very close yesterday to heading to an LQS and getting some fabric.  But the family went to the Harvest Festival and it was only that that held me back from actually going.  I’m preparing my materials for the PIQF classes I’m taking and only had one class left to prep for yesterday.  It was the hardest one for me.  I needed to go through my stash and pull yardage of coordinating fabric.  Most of my stash is made up of fat quarters and the pieces from the two grab bags I got from The Fat Quarter Shop. I have some fabric from the big box store from my early quilty years before I knew any better.  So I wasn’t sure if I had actual yardage of coordinating material.  I also didn’t want to add fabric for a class.  Not only did I not want to add fabric I want to save my money for the actual show.  So I went through my stash and was able to pull most of it from there.  I am only left with finding 2 yards of a Light fabric and another 1/4 yard of a medium fabric.  Since the other mediums I am using are variations of purple I’m hoping to find another 1/4 yard of a light purple.  And for the Light – I’m debating between two fabrics.  I really want to head over to LQS today to get something but I’m holding myself back! 🙂

The dark is in the middle somewhat and is primarily a chocolate brown with light blue. The complementary is above that and is primarily light blue with a chocolate brown motif. Then my mediums are the various purples arranged around. The ones that are cut are ready and I have two more I need to iron and cut. Those are more dark than I wanted but will have to suffice. I need one more purple and I hope I can find more in my stash. Lights are still being determined…

I’m going to be ironing and cutting the fabric for that class today and hopefully I’ll be able to work on my secret project and then the back of Easy Street.
