Stash Report – Week 12, 2014

Finally!  I can show my finish from a couple of weeks ago.  It was really simple and it took way longer to find fabric I liked than it did to actually make it.  It’s my first tied quilt and I used Yarn which was what was used in some of the you-tube videos.  However I did not like how it turned out after I washed the quilt.  Oh well, it’s cute and lovely and the parents to be will hopefully love it. 🙂

I have a second finish from last week that I’ll post about another time which accounts for this week’s used yardage.  I’ll need to add the details about this baby boy quilt on my 2014 finishes page but I’m in Anaheim today for another one of Kayla’s Cheer Competitions.  This one is a big one with cheerleaders from all over competing.  So – it will have to wait for when I have a bit more time.  I meant to head over to a quilt shop and knitting shop yesterday but wasn’t able to.  I did make it to one knitting shop on Friday afternoon and I’ve got yarnage to add but zero on fabric!  That may change today as I have a couple of quilt shops open on Sunday that I can check out.

Used this week: 3 yards
Used year to Date: 10 yards
Added since the last report: 0 yards
Added Year to Date: 47.5 yards
Net Added for 2014: 37.5 yards

  1. I like the fabrics in your tied quilt. No more small quilts for you, though. You need to make a king-sized quilt like Pam if you want to use that stash!
