Front of bag for project #1 of Sew Practical

Here’s what I’m working on this week: project #1 from the book Sew Practical.  I was able to get the boxes done for the hand embroidery part so I’ll be working on the next steps over the weekend.  If I do this again, I would like to make the boxes in a different color.  The white disappears on this fabric.  In the meantime I think I’ll work on Clue #4 of Scrapitude or quilt the border of Month by Month.  I’m not sure.  We’ll see what I feel like when I get home from work tonight. 🙂
