For the fabric stash: I bought more fabric. 5 yards more fabric. I’m still in the black… barely. I take comfort in that Moon Glow will be finished soon and I’ll be able to add those numbers in the “used” portion. It’s been a long time coming. Once that is done, I’ll be quilting Hampton Ridge and that’s another huge quilt that will keep me in the black. We’ll see how it goes though. To be fair, I had a gift certificate burning a hole in my pocket. It was for a quilt shop I rarely go to. Even though it is an LQS, it’s not my favorite. They do have a fabulous fabric selection but I don’t like to go here. But I had a gift certificate so I went and ended up leaving with 5 yards.

For the Budget:
Obviously, even though I had a gift certificate I still ended up spending cash because I bought more than what I had on the gift certificate. 🙁 In addition, I was able to get my quarter inch for the Brother machine and I learned when the embroidery and sewing classes were at the shop. I know there are a lot of people who can just figure things out but I enjoy learning at classes. It’s so much easier for me. So my plan is to go to classes. I’m going to put it on my schedule now for a month from now so that I don’t start putting things on my calendar during those times.

Love your little flower! It’s some happy stitching for sure!
Thanks Valerie! 🙂
The applique is coming along. The classes will be fun and you’ll probably learn things you wouldn’t have picked up on your own.
Thank you! 🙂
Your rainbow garden block is lovely. Such soft, soothing fabrics!
Thank you Rebecca! 🙂
