I can’t believe how time flies. Well, I wasn’t able to get much done this month as I have been consumed by a work project. 🙁 I did get Missing Ivy quilted but I still need to quilt the borders and bind it. But everything else on my quilty list has taken a back burner. For the rest of the month, I’m keeping things simple: finish Missing Ivy and finish my March socks. I try to post pics regularly on Instagram so follow me at @thousandneedles. My work project should be done by the end of the month so life will return to normal then.
And just so we can see everything I haven’t been able to do – here was my original to do list. 🙂
Here’s what I want to get done this month:
- Quilting:
- Missing Ivy – Quilt her, bind her and get ‘er done!
- quilted,
- need to finish quilting the borders
- need to bind
- Celtic Solstice – prep the back
- Have yourself a quilty little christmas – prep the back and quilt on my domestic
- Raining Cats and Dogs – hand quilt weekly
- Provence – Finish the top
- Area One Quilter’s Run –
- Scrapitude – continue doing the leaders and enders
- Missing Ivy – Quilt her, bind her and get ‘er done!
- Knitting
- Continue knitting on my sweater “Kimono” – done. I’ve been working a bit on this each day. I try to do at least a row or two as it takes me about 15-20 minutes to do a row. It’s the perfect break between work tasks.
- Finish the purple socks and cast on Knitting Expat’s March sock club pattern
- The purple socks have become my purse knitting so I take them with me wherever I go and if I find myself with time, I have my knitting to do.
- I did start the March sock and I’m almost done with it. I’ve got to do the toes, weave in the ends, take a pic and update Ravelry.
- finish Jacob’s beanie
- Cross Stitch
- Mama’s Bukid – work on this weekly
- Bag Making
- make 2 more drawstring bags
- make 2 more zipper pouch
- Check out the next Craftsy bag class I’ve got. Gather my supplies.
- Clothes Making
- One of the members in my mini group is part of a sewing guild. I think I’ll get with her and see what the resources are for a beginner. I need help getting going in this arena.
Best of luck with your work project. I hope it brings in $ for fabric. LOL
