#1 – Quilt something

I plan to get the backs done for all my tops ready to be quilted.
Update: While I still haven’t quilted anything I did get all my backs prepped. And that is an accomplishment. I still have the three quilt tops that I need to buy backing fabric for and maybe I have enough in my stash somewhere but for now I’m going to let these go. I’m just thrilled to have all the backs ready that I could get ready.
#2. Alaska – I posted about this project here and here and here and here.

Update- I last posted about this project here and all the blocks are done. Next step is to put them together.
#3 – Mountain Mist – continue working on this

Still working on block 2 – And I have worked a bit on this project. So very slowly!
#4 – Ornaments – all of these have been blanket stitched and are ready for the next step…

The next step is to embroider decorative stitches around. I need to go through my book of stitches and pull out some fancy thread and play with the various ones. Then pick what I like. This takes thought and having all my options with me so it feels a bit more involved than what I’m able to do right now.
Update- I’ve done nothing here.
#5-Raining Cats and Dogs- this is an old hand quilting project that I set aside. I am adding this on this list to remember it and figure out how to get this done. Ideally It’s one of those projects I spend a little time on each day but I have a lot of those now and so need to think about my game plan.

I picked this up and started hand quilting on this. I’ve gotten to the point where I don’t know what to quilt next so that’s why I’m at a standstill. I may just start putting on the small attachments that goes on this quilt just to get some progress on it.
#6- sashiko… I have all those sashiko things I bought last year and I want to play with these one day.
#7-Kimberbell – machine embroidery. I picked this up again as I was trying to make space to walk in my sewing room.

Happy quilting!
