I got the frames built. The only part I could not do was get the top on. It was too high for me and at 5’ it’s impossible without a ladder and my highest step ladder didn’t get me tall enough. My son to the rescue but as with anything it had to be on his schedule. So I waited a long while before all the tops got on.

At the very bottom of the left most frame I started putting together the guts of the system. First is a shoe drawer and it does pull out. It’s cool but I think it takes up too much space. I plan to use it for the shoes I use regularly and put my other shoes somewhere else. For now those shoes are still in my sewing room. I have two more of those shoe drawers and my current thought is to return them. I may still change my mind.

Then above the shoe drawer is a regular drawer. my closet is to be primarily drawers so this is the first of many. By the time this drawer was made almost every single fingernail was broken. Most were not badly broken except one which was halfway down the quick and was bleeding under the nail bed. I was done for the night and I had a nail appointment the next morning where they could work their magic and fixed them.
