Here’s my accountability post after my retreat detailing what I accomplished and what I left for next time. We had such a great time. Because I’m the coordinator of this event, it is always hard for me to settle in, focus, and get things done. And if you need, my original project plan is here.

#1- cut 1 door banner kit – At the last mini retreat, I cut half of the January door banner. I didn’t want to spend all day cutting. At that time I already had 2 door banners cut and ready to go and 1 door banner I was working on. So the plan at this retreat is to cut the rest of it.

• didn’t do. I hand appliquéd one of the watermelon seeds on the August door banner. I would have done the green leaves and stems but I didn’t have the right color green so I set it aside.
• I tried to cut the last fabric for the January banner but the cutting tables were too high and I wasn’t feeling it. Later my friend Mindy took out another table and kept it on the shorter level to accommodate my height and I started cutting. But my wrist was still paining me so I didn’t get it all done.

#2 – 2023 Saturday Sampler from QP. – do Month 12

Month 12 has two different blocks. One is the 8 pointed star and I only need to make 1 but was just too complicated for my brain this time around so I did the other block which is called ‘Roman Stripe’ and I made 16 of them.

#3 – William Morris BOM – I finished the May Block

#4 – Tula Pink Butterfly 2.0 – Finish the 4th set of blocks – Stripes and update my post with the names of the blocks

I didn’t touch this WIP this time around.

#5- Spooky Halloween – finished the embroidery on this block

And thats it. I brought several other things to do just in case I felt like it but I didn’t and that’s ok.
