I last posted about this project here when I finished the first set of blocks for month 12. This is the second block for month 12.

I was dreading working on this block. I knew it would require focus and detailedness and a lot of concentration. I used templates and I was very careful with the templates and all my sewing. But I loved working on it once I got started. I was at one of my retreats so I had to pop some airpods in to remain focused on the project. While sewing the last seam I got overly excited and did something that messed up my 770. It mostly works. I can’t use my threader or go backwards. I don’t know if that’s it or if I’ll find other things wrong. I’m really upset with myself but what’s done is done. And now I’m taking a trip to Mayhall’s in Montrose to look at getting it fixed.

Update: I tried the machine the very next day and both the threader and going backward worked.
