As planned, I ran over to my LQS yesterday to purchase more fabric for the binding on my table runners and place mats. I knew there was a huge sale because the shop is expecting a shipment of fabric and there isn’t anymore room in the store. To make room, they put over 250 bolts at 50% off, everything else was 25% off the bolt. I was hoping the fabric I needed was still there and would hopefully be at 50% off. Well, I can’t resist a good sale. I ended up with 13 yards! But I only spent a grand total of $80. So on average it was $6.15/yard! I can’t say no to that! I guess I’ll have to get rid of some clothes in my closet to make room for the additional yards! Here’s a snapshot of what I got
I got a single yard for most of them except for this one – – which I got 3 yards of. I’m thinking of using this for a backing on a new table runner/ place mat set for spring. I know I’m missing 1 picture – that’s the fabric for my binding that I’ve already cut up and put into my current place mat/ table runner. It’s not yet done so I can’t count it finished but it will be done today. The binding is on and all I need is to finish the other side!

I have a fondness for neutrals too, and I never pass up a good sale. It pays off later.
I had the same “problem” this week, good sale fabric! I like your choices, especially the dot.
One should never pass up a good sale. You got some nice yardage.
Great numbers for week two! Hard to resist a great sale.
