I used a little bit of the stash to make this pouch at the Weaving Fabric workshop with Jennifer Rapacki. The workshop was done through the SFVQA guild. I love how it turned out. I think I may make more of these since I love how it came out. I’ll have to add zippers and Aurifil 12W thread and Pellon Easy knit interfacing to my “whenever-I-get-a-chance-to-buy” list.

In addition to counting fabric in and out of my stash I want to start watching how much I spend on my quilty life. At this point, my only goal is to track it to see what the numbers look like. So this last week I bought the workshop kit for the above mentioned workshop and I paid my fee for the next guild workshop. I’m super excited about that one because it will be with Annie Smith. If you listen to quilty podcast, she is The Annie Smith with the Quilting Stash Podcast. When I started listening to podcasts, she had already stopped posting regularly. But I was subscribed to her podcast just in case and every once in awhile she would post something out of the blue. A week or so ago, she came back and it looks like she plans to post more regularly again. Honestly, I do not even know what the workshop is about. I just want to meet a quilty podcaster that I listen to ;0 If I had the time I’d trek over to San Francisco to meet with Pam and Jaye next week as mentioned in Pam’s Hip To Be A Square podcast but I don’t have the time right now so I will have to wait for another opportunity. 🙁
Spent this week: $45
