I finished the 11th Row by August 31st and started working on Row 12.  My goal for September is to get Row 12 done.  I’m trying to pick up speed on this project because I’m starting to love cross stitching again.  I’ve added FlossTube (or Cross Stitching Podcasts on YouTube) to my YouTube subscriptions and I’m amazed at all the various projects out there.  I feel like I’ve been in a cross stitching bubble.  I haven’t had the urge to buy any new projects (a good thing) but I did make a purchase for a table/lap scroll frame.  When I buy things like this I usually buy big.  But I’m learning.  I was able to restrain myself from buying the floor stand and just get the table frame.  I was also able to restrain myself from getting a bunch of different size options that came in the “deluxe” kit and just get the size I need for this project.  I am afraid that if I have multiple options, I may have multiple projects happening at one time and at most, I would only want 1-2.  Right now I’m focusing just on Mama’s Bukid and I am enjoying it.  I know myself though and know that there will be a time where I will get bored and want to work on something else.  When that time comes, I’ll get a second set of scrolls for that project.
