I’m heading over to my LQS today to the Valley MQG sew in. I’m so excited as it will be the first sew in I’ll be attending. In addition, I’ve got a gift certificate to spend!
I’m going to continue Step 5 of Celtic Solstice. I’m really almost finished with this step! I’m pressing this morning and will continue piecing until I’ve got all the units. I know I’ve moaned and groaned about Celtic Solstice for a long time now. But I’m not in a place (mentally) to grab another project and head over to the sew in. Yesterday I mentioned the other things that is on my to do list hanging over my head:
- backing for Moon Glow
- borders for Hampton Ridge
- mark the rest of the applique for Raining Cats and Dogs
These three items are not good projects to bring to a sew in. At least not this one with so little space. I think I’ll continue onto Step 6 of Celtic Solstice but when I return from the sew in, I will put it away to work on something else for a bit.
Happy quilting friends! 🙂

I hope you had a fabulous day there! It sounds like a good way to accomplish something. Time always goes faster when we are stitching in a group.
